Context

Momental is the intelligence layer between your team's goals and the work that gets them there. It captures what you know, connects it to what you're trying to achieve, and puts the right context in front of every agent and every person — exactly when they need it.

The result: work that compounds. Every decision made, every task completed, every insight captured feeds back into a shared brain that makes the next thing easier, faster, and better.

The knowledge graph

Everything in Momental lives in a knowledge graph — a living network of facts, decisions, learnings, and strategies that grows with your team. Unlike a wiki that goes stale or a Notion page nobody updates, the graph is continuously shaped by the work your team actually does.

The graph organizes information into five trees:

TreeWhat it holds
StrategyVision, objectives, key results, solutions — the "why" behind all work
WisdomAtoms: data points, learnings, decisions, principles your team has accumulated
ProductFeatures, components, the architecture of what you're building
PeopleTeam members, roles, expertise profiles
CodeYour repositories, symbols, dependencies, test coverage

Atoms

The smallest unit of knowledge is an atom — a single typed statement of what your team knows:

TypeMeaningExample
DATAAn observed fact"Week-4 retention is 60%"
LEARNINGA pattern derived from data"Teams that connect GitHub in week 1 retain at 2× the rate"
DECISIONA choice with rationale"We use edge functions for all auth checks"
PRINCIPLEA rule guiding future work"Never deploy on Fridays"

Atoms move from DRAFT (private, not yet searchable) to ACTIVE (visible to all agents and team members instantly).

Built around your objectives

Everything in Momental ladders up to something that matters. Your vision sits at the top. Below it: objectives, then key results that measure progress, then solutions and tasks that deliver them. Agents always know which KR they're serving — so they prioritize accordingly, and so do you.

You don't just track progress toward your goals. You build it, piece by piece, in the same place.
